Phone Break is a free iPhone app developed by Zachary Whelchel that aims to help users reduce their screen time. Unlike other apps that limit app usage, Phone Break takes a different approach by encouraging users to physically distance themselves from their devices.
The main feature of Phone Break is the ability to set goals for putting your phone away and plugging it in. Users can customize their goals based on their schedule and preferences. For example, a parent may set a goal to leave their phone on the charger in the kitchen for at least one hour during family time. Another user may set a goal to leave their phone by their bed for 30 minutes in the morning to avoid mindless scrolling during breakfast.
